Thermal Inkjet Technology – Precision in Every Drop

Since 1998, BOWA GmbH has been developing innovative solutions in the field of Thermal Inkjet Technology (TIJ). As a leading HP license partner worldwide, we stand for the highest printing precision, sustainable production, and certified quality. Our HP 45-compatible inks are used in countless industrial applications, from food labeling and pharmaceutical coding to production and logistics.

Micro-Precision Through Thermal Pulses

How Thermal Inkjet Technology Works

Thermal Inkjet Technology (TIJ 2.5) is based on a precise, non-contact printing process: microscopic heating elements generate energy pulses that precisely propel tiny ink droplets onto the substrate, achieving a resolution of up to 600 dpi at a frequency of several thousand drops per second.

Advantages at a Glance:

  • Optimized viscosity & conductivity for consistent drop size
  • Fast drying & excellent adhesion
  • Maximum readability for barcodes & 2D codes
  • Long standby times without clogging

Quality That Builds Trust
